Third Annual Diagnostics World Early Innovator Award

The Molecular Medicine Tri-Conference is pleased to announce the Third Annual Diagnostics World Early Innovator Award, which is open exclusively to the Tri-Conference Student Fellows.

Diagnostics World News values the contributions of early-career scientists and is committed to offering platforms for professional engagement, advancement, and research recognition. The Diagnostics World Early Innovator Award honors innovation and creativity in effectively identifying and solving a real-world clinical, scientific, or organizational problem through the application of a unique solution.

By incorporating these scientists into the conversation at the Molecular Medicine Tri-Conference—including naming winners during the plenary session—we hope to facilitate collaborations and advance the work of these most promising researchers.

How do I enter?
The Early Innovator Award shares the same entry form as poster submissions. The form consists of entry fields and open-ended questions that allow you to outline the problem, describe your solution, and summarize future research plans. Please note, only Student Fellows who are confirmed to present a scientific poster in our Exhibit Hall during the main conference program can be considered for the Early Innovator Award. If you want to submit a poster and not be considered for the Award, there is an opt-out box you can select within the application.

How is the Early Innovator Award Judged?
A panel of industry experts will review each Student Fellowship application and choose the Early Innovator Award winner based on the complexity of the problem; the uniqueness, elegance, and effectiveness of the solution; and proposed next steps.

What does the Early Innovator Award Receive?
The winner of the Diagnostics World Early Innovator Award will receive:

  • A trophy presented during the Plenary Keynote Session on Wednesday
  • Media coverage outlining his or her work in Diagnostics World News
  • Complimentary Registration for the 2020 Tri-Conference

The Early Innovator Award Mission The Award is sponsored by Diagnostics World and Cambridge Healthtech Institute (CHI), a division of Cambridge Innovation Institute (CII), which is the organizer of the 26th International Molecular Medicine Tri-Conference. The mission of the Award, and the mission of CHI, is to inspire young scientists to be leaders in our field, driving change and shaping the future of medicine.
