A key focus of the event is facilitating collaboration between the over 250 senior representatives from industry and academia who attend. In terms of content, the conference will examine the latest technologies, strategies and research in the growing biologicals industry.
Increasing prioritization of sustainability in agriculture has led to rapid growth in the agricultural biologicals industry. The benefits of biological products in agriculture are significant, and developments in technology and research make agricultural biologicals an exciting, dynamic industry in which to work and study. It is also becoming clear that we cannot address the need for increased crop productivity to feed a growing world population without better understanding of the interactions between plants and the organisms in their environments, which is why this is the perfect time to learn more about plant and soil microbiome research, and the biocontrol and biostimulant products that are being developed to serve this need.
The conference will feature expert led presentations, extended panels, and roundtable discussions on topics such as metagenomics methods, product commericialization, industry-academia collaboration, and agricultural biologicals regulation. We charge an admin fee of $100 to industry delegates to present, that goes towards the shared cost of providing the poster presentation area and display boards, guides etc. This fee is waived for those representing academic institutions and not for profit organisations.
We will require the form (downloadable below) to be submitted by the 14th of September. This is the formal deadline however space is another limiting factor so early application is recommended. Therefore please contact us with any questions you have as soon as possible.
The feedback to the conference has been very positive with 87% of attendees saying they are interested to return again in 2017.
Comments from the feedback included:
High quality talks, pertinent topics, small enough to network effectively.
Very up-to-date material was presented. A good representation of the state of research and commercial direction of plant sciences.
Intimate setting and relevant topics created a good forum for discussion and networking.
Good breadth of topics. Well presented and informative. Good for “thinking out of the box”.
I liked the ability to really have discussions with speakers and other attendees. I also liked the spectrum of topics covered.
