Innovations in Healthcare Management and Informatics 2012
13-14 March 2012 | Bangkok , Thailand

Revolutionising Healthcare in Asia through IT

The Healthcare Informatics opportunity in Thailand

In the public healthcare sector, the Thai Ministry of Public Health is undertaking a major National Public Health Information Reform project to standardise health data in the public health sector. This reform project is funded under the economic stimulus package, representing a $60 million opportunity over the next 5 years.

The government aims to use technology to reduce costs and introduce preventive care to the people. Disease management and telemedicine are also new initiatives in the public healthcare sector. With this, the public sector health spending is estimated to reach US$11 billion by 2015.

Technology and new ways of delivering healthcare are playing a major role in increasing the efficiency of hospitals, patient safety and consumer satisfaction. Consequently, market demand is increasing for healthcare technology products and services and for solutions that are targeted at specific health issues/conditions.

With over 35 key speakers already confirmed, delegates will gain valuable insights and tap expertise from international policy makers, latest case studies and implementation experience from Europe, the US and Australia. There will also be an opportunity to see how Asia is leading the way in rolling out advanced systems from expert practitioners from across the region, and understand how the regional centres of excellence are driving healthcare informatics.

Join us in Bangkok at Innovations in Healthcare Management and Informatics 2012 and be involved in a top level strategic programme addressing the core issues facing Asia’s healthcare sector.
